Support Coach Tyrone's Heart Treatment Journey

My name is Ronnisha Mungin, and I am reaching out on behalf of two dear friends who feel more like family, as they navigate through one of the most challenging times of their lives. Coach Tyrone, a pillar of our community, is facing a life-threatening medical condition, and his resilience over the past few years has been nothing short of remarkable. Throughout this ordeal, he has never once complained, and instead has faced his struggle with quiet strength. But now, as his health deteriorates, he and his family are in urgent need of our support.

In recent months, the Owen’s family has experienced immense hardships stemming from Coach Tyrone’s worsening heart condition. His specialized care led them from North Florida to Gainesville, where he is receiving treatment recommended by multiple specialists. Unfortunately, the financial burden is growing heavy as his wife must take time off work to be by his side. We are launching a campaign to rally support for them during this critical phase, as they need all the help they can get.

Coach Tyrone has dedicated his life to inspiring children and members of our community, often going above and beyond for anyone and always sacrificing valuable time with his family to uplift others. The impact he has made on so many lives is immeasurable, and now I feel the need to help support him and his family in a time of need. The prognosis for him is cautiously optimistic, with a high survival rate tied to the recommended treatment, but achieving a full recovery requires not just medical intervention but also the stability of his family.

Our goal is to raise $5,000 to cover travel expenses, room and board, food, gas, and other unforeseen costs that the Owen’s family is facing.
