Help Coach Tommy Recover and Support his Family!

One of the great wrestling coaches in the State of Kansas needs our community to step up for him! Coach Tommy Kirkpatrick has been instrumental in shaping the lives of young men and women! From the Basehor Bobcat Wrestling Club, Cougar Kids Club to SlyFox Wrestling Academy. Coach Tom has donated hundreds of hours supporting the kids in our wrestling community!

Coach Tom needs OUR help! He suffered significant injuries from a recent accident. So many kids look up to Tommy as a leader, mentor and friend. We can all only imagine the struggles he and his family are dealing with during this difficult time. The inability to walk on his own has left him unable to return to work. These limitations and the pain he's enduring can obviously be mentally challenging.

As a wrestler, you are tested mentally and physically; sometimes pushed farther than you think you are capable of handling. We all know that adversity will find you around every turn in our great sport. Wrestlers are resilient by nature and exhibit mental and physical strenght in the coninuiing grind and naviations through tough moments. Those lessons carry over into a wrestlers daily life. This is one of those challenges Coach Tommy is now taking head on. By helping him through this journey, we can all scream at him from the side of the mat, "you've got this man!"

The recovery is expected to take up to 6 months, during which he will be unable to work and provide for his family. This has placed a significant financial burden on his family. As a wrestling family, we are here for each other. We want Coach Tommy to get well and to finish what he started - shaping young lives to be good people on and off the mat. We all know Tommy will get back on his feet and continue to have some fun with the kids doing snow angel singlet challenges he does so well.
