Help a Beloved Atlanta Coach and Mentor Recover from a Sudden Heart Emergency

Coach TC — a legend in Atlanta’s youth sports community — recently suffered a sudden, life-threatening cardiac episode that left him without a heartbeat. Thanks to swift medical intervention, he was resuscitated and stabilized, and has since been transported to a Heart Transplant Center outside Georgia, where he is now undergoing evaluation for a heart transplant.

This journey was completely unexpected — something no one can truly prepare for.

Now, Coach TC and his girlfriend of 20+ years, who will serve as his full-time caregiver, face a long road to recovery. They must temporarily relocate out of state, staying within 30 minutes of the transplant center for a minimum of 6–8 weeks during and after surgery, all while continuing to maintain their home in Georgia.

He’s led teams to win multiple city and GRPA championships, been recognized as the winningest coach in Atlanta Parks and Rec history, and was even honored with an official “Coach TC Day”.
