Shawn Young is a beloved tennis coach in South Austin, and I’m lucky to call him my coach. He’s spent years helping people of all ages—adults and kids alike—find joy, confidence, and community through tennis. Shawn’s encouragement and expertise have inspired so many of us to stay active, improve our skills, and have fun on the court.

Recently, Shawn suffered a serious foot injury that requires surgery. Without health insurance, the cost of the procedure is overwhelming. On top of that, Shawn can’t get back on the court to coach until he’s recovered, which means he’s unable to earn an income during this difficult time.

We’re coming together to help Shawn cover the cost of his surgery and provide a little extra to support him while he recovers. Shawn has touched so many lives in South Austin, and now it’s our turn to rally around him.
