Support Coach Pearson’s Fight Against Cancer

Hello friends and family,

We are the nephews of Mike Pearson — known to us as Uncle Mike, and to many others as Coach Pearson. We’re coming together to support someone we love deeply. Recently, Uncle Mike received the devastating diagnosis of esophageal cancer. If you know him, you understand just how hard this news hits.

Uncle Mike has always been a strong and inspiring presence in our lives — a humble, God-fearing man who puts others before himself without hesitation. Whether through his guidance, training, encouragement, or sense of humor, he’s made an impact on so many of us. Now, it’s our turn to show up for him.

He’s facing a challenging road ahead — full of treatments, hospital visits, and the physical and emotional toll that comes with this disease. On top of that, the financial strain will grow quickly.

We’re raising funds to help cover his medical expenses as well as day to day living costs like rent and bills. This support will allow Uncle Mike to focus fully on healing, without the added stress of financial hardship.

Message from Uncle Mike:

To whom it may concern; Dear friends, Loving family members, Loyal and Dedicated clientele, Huge hearted and generous Prayer Warriors, and Well wishers alike... Words cannot possibly or adequately express the Profound Gratitude and Love my heart wishes to convey to all who have responded SO GRACIOUSLY and LOVINGLY during a time of my (Coach Pearson, Uncle Mike, and/or Michael's) greatest need!!! 

 Your love and generosity I only recognize as Miraculous and of Devine Providence!!! THANK YOU SO VERY MUCH WITH ALL OF MY HEART!!! 

 At the time of my diagnosis (Stage 3 esophageal cancer) I had been continually "Bustin' it Hard" nonstop (as often Sole Proprietor business owners do) always trying my best to make ends meet. It was during this time (and also when I was very Healthy and Strong - as a Strength Coach) that I started to feel really exhausted and also began to notice losing weight unexpectedly. 

It was at this time, that I went to see my Primary Care Physician who recommended some testing (an Endoscopy). After a biopsy and diagnosis of the tumor in my esophagus, I realized it was necessary for me to take a sabbatical from my business in order to look after my Health. But as a Sole Proprietor business owner - doing everything to make ends meet - taking time off does not bode well with becoming "unhealthy.” 

Unbeknownst to me (while I was in the Hospital) I learned my nephews (Alec, Kyle, Cole, and Zachary) decided to initiate a Go-Fund-Me page in an effort to help their Uncle Mike!!! My Nephews are such Strong, Handsome, Hard working Christian young men with the BIGGEST HEARTS imaginable, and who I Love So Dearly!!! Along with these guys, I cannot say enough about my twin brother Pat (and his wife Debbie) who have been with me every step of the way and helping me So Much!!! They themselves have endured so much and have unbelievably and unselfishly helped so many others!!! I tell everyone that I wished that everybody had a twin brother as I have been blessed with!!! Pat has been such a Miracle for me!!! ✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️

I am in Very Good Spirits and will always look forward to Encouraging others while maintaining a perpetually Positive Attitude as I go forward with Treatments and Surgery. Above all else - I will choose to Fight Forward in my current scenario - being Confident, fully Surrendered to, abiding in, and in the arms of a Powerful, Loving, Almighty Lord and Savior Jesus Christ!!! ✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️✝️

I will remain suited up in the Full Armor of God (Ephesians 6: 10-18) relying on His plan and timing, and maintaining the mindset of the Apostle Paul, as in (Philippians 1: 21).
