Support the Family of Coach Mike Nash

Our community is heartbroken by the loss of Coach Mike Nash, a beloved leader, teacher, and mentor whose impact reached far beyond the football, lacrosse, and baseball fields.

Coach Nash spent nearly a decade leading the Dunwoody Wildcats and had just begun a new chapter as head coach at Chattahoochee County High School. He built everything around one word, F.A.M.I.L.Y. (Forget About Me, I Love You), a motto he lived by every single day.

Even when the score was tough, his players knew one thing: Coach Nash believed in them. His reach was even greater than the field. He taught his students, from all walks of life, how to be good people. In his classroom, he led with tolerance, kindness, and overall an immense sense of love.

Coach was also a son, a brother, a husband, a father, and, most recently, a grandfather. He has left behind his beloved wife, Tracy. Also, daughters, Jordan (proud Mom to the most beautiful grandbaby in the world, according to Coach Nash) and Gracie, who is still in college at Auburn University. This Go Fund Me is a way for our communities to show our support for the Nash family, in appreciation for everything they have done for us over the years.

Why We’re Raising Funds

Coach Nash passed away suddenly after a medical emergency, leaving behind his family and a community that loved him deeply. This is our chance to give back and show them how much we all miss and love him.

• Funeral and memorial service costs

• Coach Nash’s Medical expenses

• Longer-term living expenses for the Nash family

Every donation will go directly to the Nash family. We’ll post updates here as arrangements and memorial events are finalized.

A Coach Who Gave His All

Coach Nash wasn’t just a coach; he was a life mentor. He built character first, football second. His sense of humor, compassion, and constant encouragement touched hundreds of students, parents, and colleagues.

He believed coaching was a calling, not a career. And through that calling, he created a community of love, trust, and resilience.
