Support Coach Matt's Road to Recovery

Dear Friends and Family,

We reach out to you today on behalf of Coach Matt, a beloved member of our Cheer Community. Unfortunately, Matt is currently facing a challenging time as he battles health complications related to a burst appendix and a cyst that is causing a deeper infection. On 1/31 Matt started feeling sick canceling all of his private lessons and calling out at the gym which is unlike him. Based on the pain, he suspected his Appendix but knew with Palm Springs coming up he needed to be present for his team this past weekend. He took Tylenol every six hours to get through the weekend but was still feeling sharp pains and knew something was wrong. On Monday upon returning from Palm Springs he drove himself in extreme pain to the emergency room. The Doctors discovered a ruptured cyst on top of his burst appendix with infection. This complicates traditional appendix removal as they are currently working to get the infection under control by draining the excess fluid and treating him with antibiotics. Matt will be in the hospital this week and hopefully released in time for our Roseville competition. He will be re-admitted for appendix removal at a later date once the swelling and infection are under control.

As many of you know, Coach Matt has always been there for others, offering guidance, encouragement, and unwavering support. Now, it's our turn to rally around him and offer our assistance during his time of need.

Due to his current condition and future surgery needed, Coach Matt is unable to work and is facing mounting medical bills and expenses. As he focuses on his recovery and regaining his strength, he needs our help to alleviate some of the financial burden and stress.
