Urgent Help Needed for Coach Matthew After Devastating Accident
Beloved Tiger Muay Thai kickboxing coach, Matthew, was recently involved in a horrific motorbike accident on his way to a friend's Christmas gathering on December 25, 2024. After encountering unexpected road debris left over from an accident, he lost control of his bike, slid over the center divide, and got hit by an oncoming car. The impact was devastating, leaving Matthew with 7 broken ribs, a fractured scapula and clavicle, and internal bleeding of the spleen.
Coach Matthew has dedicated his life to Tiger Muay Thai since 2008—first as a fighter and then as a coach in 2017, and head coach in 2020, where he’s inspired countless students with his passion and expertise. Now, he faces mounting medical bills and an uncertain future. With his savings dwindling and daily hospital expenses exceeding 1300 baht (including charges for basic necessities like water), he is in need of our support.
Matthew faces many challenges as he aims to recover from these injuries—on top of dealing with these financial difficulties. Although he has been given verbal agreement to remain an employee of Tiger, he will not be financially compensated beyond January. Let's rally together to help this incredible coach get back on his feet! Please donate what you can and share this GoFundMe widely. Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in his recovery and peace of mind.
Thank you for your generosity and support!
