❤️ Coach Kenny’s Fundraiser Story (Updated for December Trip)
For more than thirty years, Coach Kenny has dedicated his life to Pop Warner football — teaching discipline, building confidence, and giving kids a place to grow both on and off the field. Some of the players he coached as little boys have even gone on to play in the NFL. But Coach Kenny never did this for recognition — he did it out of pure love for the kids and the game.
This year, Coach Kenny’s journey took a dramatic turn.
He underwent a kidney transplant less than six months ago. Most people would still be home recovering, but the moment the doctors gave him the green light — even at half-strength — he got right back on the field. Because coaching isn’t just something he does…
It’s something that heals him.
Coach Kenny says the kids’ energy, their determination, and their joy have been a big part of his recovery. They’ve lifted his spirit in ways medicine never could.
Now the team has earned an amazing opportunity:
✅ They qualified to play in Florida this December.
✅ The kids have worked all year for this moment.
✅ Coach Kenny wants to be there on the sidelines guiding them.
But to make this December trip possible, he needs help — travel, lodging, and expenses add up, and after fighting through medical challenges, he’s asking the community he has served for decades to support him the way he has supported generations of kids.
If you can donate — whether it’s a little or a lot — you’re helping Coach Kenny continue doing what he was born to do:
be there for his kids, lead them, inspire them, and watch them shine on that Florida field.
Thank you in advance for your kindness, your generosity, and your love.
Let’s help Coach Kenny make it to Florida in December and finish the season strong with the team he loves. ❤️
