Josh Lup is not just a coach at Spring Woodlands Tennis Academy he’s a beloved member of our team and a mentor to so many kids. As the owner of the academy, I’ve seen firsthand the dedication and heart Josh brings to our community every day. Recently, Josh received the difficult news that he has stage 3 rectal cancer. He now faces 6 rounds of chemotherapy lasting 12 weeks. Followed by radiation and chemo, and then most likely surgery. The good news is that the tumor has not spread, but the road ahead will still be tough.
Despite everything, Josh’s spirits remain high. When I speak with him, he’s always talking about ways he can give back to more to the community. He believes this journey will change his life for the better, bring him closer to God, and inspire him to help even more people than before. His positivity and selflessness are truly remarkable.
Josh’s commitment to the kids and families at our academy is inspiring. The parents and our entire community have already begun to rally around him, showing just how much he is loved and valued. During this challenging time, we want to make sure Josh can focus on his health and recovery without the added stress of financial worries.
The funds we raise will go primarily toward Josh’s living expenses while he undergoes treatment, and he’ll also have the flexibility to use them for medical bills as needed. We are so grateful for all of our supporters for your kindness and generosity it means the world to Josh. Every donation, no matter the size, will help him get through this. We’re also planning a tournament to raise money for Josh this April. We hope you’ll join us in supporting Josh as he takes on this fight.
