If you’ve lived in El Segundo for a while, chances are you’ve crossed paths with Coach Brasher (Johnny) — maybe he coached your kid’s baseball team, cheered you on from the stands for assorted sports, or shared a good laugh (and a good beer) at one of the local bars in town. For over 25 years, he’s been a pillar part of our community: a dedicated coach, a loyal friend, and a great dad.

Now, Coach Brasher is facing one of his toughest battles — stage 4 Metastatic bladder cancer. The cancer has made eating and keeping up his strength a daily challenge, and Jette has taken family leave to care for him full time alongside hospice.

We’re organizing this GoFundMe to help lighten their load of medical & other related costs. Any contribution will go directly toward supporting them through this difficult time. To everyone who's already given and shown up to support, the Brasher family cannot thank you enough.
