Update on Joe

We’re happy to share that Joe has been released from the hospital! While this is a huge step forward, he still has a rough road ahead with frequent trips back and forth to doctor visits and therapy appointments.

The journey isn’t over, but every little bit of support helps ease the burden during this time. We are so grateful for the love, prayers, and donations that have already come through — it truly makes a difference.

Joe Morales is more than just a name to our community—he’s a beloved wrestling & jujitsu coach, mentor, father and friend who has dedicated countless hours to shaping young athletes both on and off the mat. Now, he’s the one in the fight of his life.

Recently, Joe hit some hard times and found himself in the ER, where he spent 5 days undergoing treatment. Just when he thought he was on the road to recovery, he suffered another setback and now faces and is back in the ER and has been for 7 day and potentially 7+ more days continuing in the ER.

Once out he will have to travel on a regular basis to physical therapy and specialists for treatments for an unknown amount of time.

Being unable to work during this time has created a heavy financial strain on top of the long road to recovery ahead. Medical bills, co pays, everyday expenses, and the uncertainty of what’s next have made this an especially difficult chapter for Joe.

Joe has given so much to others—coaching, guiding, and inspiring young wrestlers & jujitsu athletes to never give up. Now it’s our turn to rally behind him.
