Support Coach Jeff Pettit on His Road to Recovery
In May 2025, Coach Jeff Pettit was hospitalized with pneumonia. What started as a serious illness quickly became even more challenging when an infection spread from his knee into his foot, leaving him unable to walk.
Jeff spent five long months in rehab, fighting his way back step by step — from a wheelchair, to a walker, and now to a cane. His determination and strength have been nothing short of incredible. Unfortunately, just as he was making progress, he suffered another setback in November when he was involved in a car accident.
During his time in rehab, Jeff was unable to work and did not receive a paycheck. As a result, he is now facing overwhelming medical bills along with everyday living expenses.
Coach Pettit is a well-known and respected figure throughout New Jersey. He dedicated years to coaching youth athletes, including MYAA football from 1987–2000, and has spent countless hours helping baseball and softball players of all levels develop—not just their skills, but their confidence and mindset. His impact on the community goes far beyond the field.
Now it’s our turn to give back to someone who has given so much.
We are asking the sports community and beyond to come together to support Coach Pettit as he works to recover and get back on his feet. Every donation, no matter the amount, will help ease the burden of medical expenses and daily costs.
If you are unable to donate, please consider sharing this page.
Thank you for your support, generosity, and prayers for Coach Pettit.
