As many of you know, Coach Jay Wilson has been battling cancer for several months, enduring extensive chemotherapy. Although these treatments are physically and emotionally taxing, Coach Wilson and his family have remained optimistic, as the ultimate goal is for doctors to remove the cancer surgically. However, recently Atlanta doctors expressed their hesitancy to perform this necessary surgery and referred him to an expert in Baltimore, Maryland. Jay and his wife Tracy traveled to Baltimore to meet with doctors and received some wonderful news: doctors have agreed to perform the surgery on May 3rd!

Coach Wilson and his family have been so grateful for the outpouring of prayers, support, love, meals, and concern shown to them over the past several months. Many people have also reached out to the Wilson family inquiring how they can help the Wilsons offset expenses. Therefore, to help cover travel expenses, as well as out-of-network medical costs, friends of the family have initiated this fundraiser.
