Support Coach Jameus Hartsfield & Basketball Team

BREAKING NEWS IN MARLIN TEXAS‼️

Coach Jameus Hartsfield has been suspended two games and the dates are January 14 and 18, 2022. Coach Hartsfield is being punished for his efforts to change the perception of our young men who attend Marlin High School, a 2a school located in Texas. Coach Hartsfield requires his basketball players to wear suits and dress shoes. The dress shoes allegedly left scuff marks on the dance floor at the Jr High school when the Varsity basketball team was taking pictures. Marlin ISD administration is wanting Coach Jameus Hartsfield to pay out his pocket to get the scuff marks removed. Coach Hartsfield refused to pay for it out of his pocket so the administration suspended him for two games.

I am a Head Track Coach and Co-Owner of Cooper Young Enterprises LLC a commercial cleaning company located in Austin, Texas. When I heard this story, I immediately emailed the Superintendent of Marlin ISD, Dr. Darryl Henson and volunteered to travel over 100 miles to clean the dance floor for FREE. Now, individuals have asked how they can donate to help my efforts to clean the floor to support Coach Hartsfield. I am requesting that instead of donating to me, donate to Coach Hartsfield and the team. I will collect all funds and ensure those funds are donated to Coach.

During these times, the community must stick together and support each other! Teachers/Coaches are unsung Heroes. They are expected to do more with less. Although I have never met Coach Hartsfield, I SALUTE him and ask that you join me in supporting his efforts. Go Bulldogs!!
