Hi friends, family, and community,

My name is Coach Hank — also known as HankE. Dean. For over five decades, I’ve been proud to serve as a gymnastics coach, dance educator, acro specialist, flexibility coach, and personal trainer. From Broadway Dance Center in New York to studios and training floors across California and beyond, I’ve dedicated my life to building up others — helping athletes, dancers, and everyday movers believe in their strength and shine in their own unique light.

Now, at the age of 62, I’m stepping into something totally new, bold, and exciting: Barber School.

Yes, I’m combining my lifelong love for fashion, personal style, and transformation with my passion for working one-on-one to uplift others. I’ve been accepted into EDUCO Barber School in San Jose, California, a 7-month program that will help me become a licensed barber. This journey is about more than clippers and fades — it’s about continuing to evolve, grow, and secure a future that allows me to keep serving my community with purpose and creativity.

This new chapter will blend my past with my future — acro and barbering — both grounded in skill, personal care, and artistry.

But I can’t do it alone.

I’m asking for a little help with tuition and supplies. Every dollar raised will go directly toward covering school fees, licensing costs, and equipment. My goal is to not only complete the program but eventually open a small space where style, confidence, and health all come together — a place that represents a full-circle moment in my life.
