Please help the Hart Family!
David Hart suffered a Cerebellum Stroke on July 17th and has been in the hospital/rehab ever since.
A Cerebellum Stroke is one of the rarest and the most difficult of all strokes to recover from because of its effect on balance and the vestibular system. Thankfully, he was immediately transferred to Medical City Healthcare in McKinney, where a team of doctors began administering the treatment to prevent the stroke from worsening and saved his life.
He spent over a month in the hospital as they monitored his progress, continued to administer medication to control the stroke, and began therapy to start the LONG recovery process.
The avalanche of medical bills from this traumatic event have greatly impacted his family due to lost income, as David is on disability leave with no income and limited insurance.
David, known simply as "Coach" Hart by many, has helped countless youth athletes and their families fulfill their dreams of playing competitive baseball over the years. He has devoted an immeasurable number of hours coaching and giving back to the sport that he loves so deeply. We would love your help, no matter how small, getting him back on his feet so that he can return to coaching and providing for his family again.
His greatest passion is helping others, being a great husband, fantastic father, and doting grandfather. We wish him and the Hart Family our best as he recovers.
