Support Coach Cory's 13U Team End Of Year Celebration

Hello, my name is Mrs. Crystal and I’m the Team Administrator (TA/Team Mom) for my husband’s 13U football team. I truly appreciate you taking a moment to read my story about our team. My husband “Coach Cory” and I have been involved in youth football for awhile, ever since our son was 6 years old. Coach Cory has been so dedicated to youth football and he loves coaching and mentoring the kids. He is always there for all age groups, as well as any time the organization needs a helping hand from the coaches, to fixing helmets, or just being a listening ear. Doing his many years of coaching he has always been an Assistant Coach for the past 6 years. With him now entering our 13U final season the opportunity to be Head Coach has been presented to him and to take over the team that once belonged to one of our late great coaches that is no longer with us. This last season that we just finished was a trying but good season for us all especially for him as a first time Head Coach over an excellent 13U football team. Coach Cory as well as our coaching staff has done an amazing job with our team. We did have some teaching and learning moments doing our last season with youth football. But with the help from our consistent and loyal parents, our coaching staff and our team/the players, we over came those obstacles with a (4-3 record) and continue to push our team/family all the way to the playoffs. All I can say is that I’m so proud of our team.
Now that our last and final season of youth football has come to an end and I can truly say it has been a bittersweet one for us all. The coaches had been preparing our players all season long for all their new adventures that will began to start taking place for them, as well as preparing them for their next step into High or Private school. Unfortunately doing this season we did experience another passing of one of our great coaches and the father to one of our players. This was a very emotional moment for our team. We teach our team to show support for each other in difficult times and in successful times.
Since this is our players last season and all of what our team has been experiencing lately, Coach Cory and I would like to give our team and nice End Of Season celebration to show our appreciation for all of their hard work and dedication they put in.
We were unable to fund for this event on our own and we looked into doing many different fundraisers, but no luck. So we decided to try and see if we can get any donations to help us with giving our team a well deserved End Of The Year celebration.
Any money donated will be used to secure the event location, purchase food for the team (including the Coaching Staff), and also a memorable souvenir gift. Any amount you're willing to contribute is so greatly appreciated, and if you aren't able to contribute money at this time, a share with your friends and family would mean the world to us as well.
