HELP Coach Brian Fruscio on his road to recovery. For decades, Brian Fruscio has been more than a basketball coach. He has been a mentor, teacher, role model, and friend to hundreds of young athletes and their families.

Through basketball, Brian has spent countless hours helping kids become not only better players, but better people, teaching them about hard work, perseverance, teamwork, character, and believing in themselves.

Now, Brian needs the support of the community he has given so much to. Brian recently suffered an unimaginable medical crisis: a series of 5 strokes. He is currently hospitalized in Long Island and facing a long and difficult road to recovery. His doctors anticipate that he will require extensive rehabilitation and continued medical care as he works to regain his strength and independence.

Along with the tremendous physical and emotional challenges Brian and his family are facing, the financial burden is quickly growing. Hospitalization, rehabilitation, therapy, ongoing medical care, and many other unexpected expenses that accompany a serious medical event can be overwhelming.

For so many years, Brian has been the person standing on the sidelines encouraging others, believing in themselves when they needed it most, and giving his time and heart to generations of young people.
