Hello all,

I am raising money for my boyfriend’s dad, Bret Grant. Many of you know him as Coach Bret, as he has devoted countless hours to kids and their hockey dreams. He coached along side my father and coached my sister in hockey. I met bret about a year ago when I started dating his son. It wasn’t soon after we found out he was diagnosed with adenocarcinoma, stage 4. He did 12 rounds of chemotherapy and had surgeries to remove any tumors. He had medical scans done recently and they didn’t come back the way we all prayed for. His tumors doubled in size and there are new tumors forming. The doctors told him that if he didn’t do treatment, he would have less than a year to live. Because Bret devoted so much to the community, I feel it’s time to give back. Bret has become one of my best friends! He constantly gives me advice, is always a shoulder to cry on, and consistently shows people they are loved.
