Support for Coach Brendan and His Fiancée, Kim

In late September, Coach Brendan’s fiancée, Kim, suffered a serious head injury that required hospitalization and emergency surgery to stop bleeding on her brain. She has shown incredible strength throughout her recovery and is now over a month into physical therapy, with doctors optimistic that there will be no long term effects.

While Kim’s recovery is going well, the challenges are far from over. Just before the injury, Kim had started a new job as a travel ultrasound tech, and unfortunately her employer terminated her contract the day after her surgery. This has left her and Brendan without health insurance and struggling to cover medical expenses, rent, and other essential costs.

Brendan has been by her side every step of the way, balancing care, recovery, and life’s demands with the same dedication he brings to his players and teams. Many of you know him not just as a coach but as a mentor, role model, and friend to so many across our Celtics community.
