Help Honor the Legacy of Clyde “The Glide” Austin

We are heartbroken to share that Clyde “The Glide” Austin — NC State basketball legend, Harlem Globetrotter team captain, and devoted evangelist — has passed away in Nevada.

Clyde touched countless lives with his talent, leadership, and ministry. Known for his dazzling moves on the court and his unwavering faith off it, he inspired fans, teammates, and communities across the world.

At this time, we are seeking support to bring Clyde back to North Carolina, a place that since his college days at NC State he called home and where most of his family and grandchildren currently reside, so his family, friends, and community can honor his legacy. Funds will go toward transporting his body from Nevada and covering the costs of his homegoing service.

Your generosity will help us celebrate a man who gave so much of himself to others — an athlete, a leader, and a servant of God.
