Clwb Rygbi Bro Gwernant is launching a fundraising effort to support an important role within our club. For the past three years, Iolo Jones, our Rugby Club Hub Officer, has been instrumental in strengthening the link between Ysgol Dinas Brân and the club. His work has helped introduce young players to the game and develop their skills, benefiting both the school and our wider rugby community.

We now have the opportunity to extend Iolo’s role for another two years, with funding raised by the club we will be able to secure this vital position.

To help reach our target, our chairman, Einion Davies, will be undertaking The Chairman’s Challenge – a three-day, 54-mile walk from Llanarmon Dyffryn Ceiriog to Criccieth between May 30th and June 1st. The route, covering some tough but beautiful terrain, is split into three stages:

Llanarmon to Bala

Bala to Trawsfynydd

Trawsfynydd to Criccieth

This challenge is not just a personal test for Einion but a great way to rally support for our club’s future. Any donation, large or small, will help ensure we can continue providing opportunities for young players to engage with the sport.
