Hey friends — the Clover’s Cat Club makeover is in full swing, and now it’s time to tackle one of the least glamorous but most essential upgrades: laundry and sinks.

Right now, the rescue has one lonely sink (in the bathroom) and no washer or dryer on-site. All the cat laundry — bedding, towels, cleaning supplies, everything — gets taken home by staff. Yep… they’re doing so much rescue laundry, they barely have time to do their own.

Here’s the plan:

Add two more sinks where they’re actually needed

Install a washer and dryer on-site so everything can stay clean and in-house

We’re aiming to raise $15,000 to make this happen. Since the building currently only has one existing water line, this isn’t a simple install — new plumbing needs to be run, and the floor will need to be drilled into for proper drainage. Between the plumbing work, electrical hookups, washer/dryer units, and adding sinks, this is a big project, but it’s a one-time investment that will completely transform how the rescue operates day to day.

We’ve been completely self-funding this entire makeover project because we want Clover’s to be able to keep focusing their resources on what matters most — saving cats. None of the rescue’s operating funds are going toward these upgrades. But the washer/dryer install and plumbing are a big lift, and we can’t cover this part on our own.
