Hello, my name is Traci. My friend Fio and I rescued this dog from a really bad situation. She was first dumped on a freeway. She was rescued by a family. They didn’t have a spot for her, so she was tied up in a very, very small area for her whole pregnancy. Fio jumped into action. We got Clover to Fio's house, and in two days, she had 11 puppies. She came from a starving situation, and we were very scared the puppies wouldn’t make it, but they all did. The puppies are now three weeks old, and Clover is having a very hard time keeping up with nursing them. She’s tired, and her nipples are red and scratched. She doesn’t want to feed the puppies anymore. We have to do all kinds of stuff. Fio stays up all night with them, getting the puppies to eat. She is giving the puppies puppy replacer milk and trying to help Clover feel more comfortable. This dog has been very traumatized and had an awful pregnancy! Fio isn’t working right now, so she needs help for all the supplies and food for her 12 new dogs! Fio also has her own animals to care for, and the new momma dog wants to eat all day!
