Support CLOUT – Help Us Bring This Short Film to Life
Dear friends and art lovers,
My name is Rami, and I’m an artist based in Paris. After graduating from drama school, I began creating my own projects in theater, cinema, music, and photography. Each project is driven by a passionate team of young creators who learn by doing and bring stories to life from start to finish.
I am currently developing a collection of four short films. Two were shot this summer and are now in post-production. The third, “CLOUT”, is in preparation.
The Story
“CLOUT” follows Rayan, a young homeless man in Paris. Once a musician, he finds a broken guitar and decides to fix it. Playing again reconnects him with his past — but people walk by, indifferent.
One day, after a couple’s argument, a woman tosses down a giant teddy bear she won at a fair. Rayan picks it up and places it beside him. Suddenly, people begin taking selfies with the bear for Instagram and TikTok. This time, they drop coins into his bowl — not for his music, but for the image.
Rayan repeats the act. Alone, he is invisible. With the teddy bear, he becomes “seen.”
“CLOUT” is a reflection on our society — what we value, and what we ignore.
