Hello. My name is Jennifer Parker and I am setting up this GoFundMe for my son, Clint Thomas.
On Saturday, October 26th, Clint was driving home from work on his motorcycle when a vehicle made an improper left turn, crashing head-on into him. He was thrown from his bike on impact and suffered multiple traumatic injuries. He was placed on a vent for almost 4 days and went through several surgeries on both legs. His injuries include open compound breaks in both legs, tibia and fibular on the left leg, femur and patella on the right leg, multiple fractures to the pelvis, blunt force trauma to the chest causing heart and lung issues, and several other injuries.
Clint is 25 years old with a beautiful fiancé and precious 4-month-old baby girl. Clint spent 10 days in the Trauma ICU at UAB, 3 days in acute trauma, and is now at inpatient rehab learning how to live in a wheelchair for the next few months until he is weight-bearing and can begin PT to learn to walk and move again. He and his family will be staying in our home during his recovery. He is unable to work due to the severity of his injuries.
This fundraiser will help with all of his medical needs, supplies, and living expenses for the next 6-12 months as he recovers. Your support is appreciated along with your prayers. Thank you for considering donating and for sharing this link on your social media. We are so thankful that Clint is alive and on the road to recovery. While the journey will be hard and lengthy, we know that God has great plans for him and will bring him through this. Thank you again.
