Hi, we’re the Youth Leadership Council of Climate Roots, and we’re fundraising to address food insecurity through technology, education, and youth empowerment.

Climate Roots is a nonprofit organization dedicated to harnessing the power of youth, technology, and sustainable agriculture to improve planetary and human health and build a brighter future for all. Our initiatives include growing community food gardens, sustainability-focused education, and Competitions for Planet Earth that engage young minds in environmental stewardship.

Climate Roots has established 3 gardens in Newark and Fremont, producing 1,288 pounds of produce. Your donation helps us support these gardens. A few activities we would like to invest in are buying new gardening tools, installing sensors and fans for our greenhouse, and offering more community engagement classes.

Agriculture supports everyone, and Climate Roots is dedicated to teaching youth about sustainable agricultural practices and technology. Together, we can make a difference in local food security. With your help, Climate Roots can host youth competitions, offer workshops, and reach out to a wider range of communities, connecting people with the resources needed to address food insecurity right where they live.
