We are ACT4TOMORROW, DYNAMIQUE VOIES DE PAIX (DYVOPA - Ways of Peace Dynamic), and Extinction Rebellion GRABEN DRC (XR GRABEN-RDC) - community-based groups.

All are engaged in peacebuilding, climate resilience, peaceful coexistence, nonviolent resistance, and land restoration in the DRC and across Africa since the launch of the “ECO GREEN RESTORATION” program in 2021.

We have planted more than 6,000 trees in collaboration with other community groups, schools, and churches in Goma, the territories of Nyiragongo and Rutshuru, the city of Butembo, the territories of Lubero and Beni, within the Graben area — the largest oil basin in the DRC, near Virunga National Park. Since 2021, we have also worked to mitigate risks related to natural disasters and climate change, including the eruption of Mount Nyiragongo in May 2021, which devastated everything in its path.

We are seeking individuals and organizations of goodwill who can help amplify the voices of communities and farmers plunged into hardship due to security crises, and who can contribute to the advancement of our activities. We will need campaign materials, food and non-food supplies for our field mobilization actions in 2026.

Our activities focus on peacebuilding and climate resilience among Indigenous and local communities living near Kahuzi-Biega National Park in South Kivu and Virunga National Park in North Kivu. We promote peaceful coexistence to help protect the Congo Basin — the heart of the Congo — which contributes significantly to the survival of global communities through its natural potential, yet remains at risk due to insecurity, armed group extractivism, and ongoing rebel aggression in conflict-affected areas.

ECO GREEN RESTORATION works for peace in areas and with populations most affected by security crises and climate-related threats through:

1. Civic education and climate justice
2. Peace and active nonviolence
3. Climate action and environmental education
3. Climate justice and protection of protected areas

From March 23 to April 22 - International Earth Day 2026 — we are planning a series of actions and mobilizations recognizing the dignity of women, who are among the most affected by climate and security crises. We will denounce social injustice in the DRC, extractivism, illegal exploitation of our minerals and other natural resources, and gender-based violence committed since the aggression in Eastern DR Congo .

“When hope dies, ACTION begins.”
