Help Cliff Heal After a Devastating Accident

Donation protected
My baby brother, Cliff, was on a short motorcycle ride just blocks from his home when an elderly driver ran a stop sign and t-boned him—crushing his foot and throwing him into the air.

He landed on his back.

We are unbelievably lucky he’s still with us. His helmet saved his life.

Now Cliff is in the hospital facing multiple surgeries, with doctors working to save his foot. The road ahead is long and uncertain, and we don’t know when—or if—he’ll be able to return to work.

Cliff is a violent crimes detective with the Eugene Police Department, an athlete, and most importantly, a devoted father of four—two of whom are under the age of two. His wife, Starr, is at home caring for their young children and now preparing to care for Cliff as well.

Starr’s maternity leave has just ended, but returning to work isn’t possible. Cliff will need full-time support, and their family is suddenly facing life on a single, uncertain income. His paid leave may run out long before he’s able to recover.

The financial strain is real—and growing.

I’m asking for help so that financial stress doesn’t stand in the way of Cliff’s healing.

Your support will help provide:
• Childcare so Starr can get Cliff to medical appointments
• Meals for their family during an exhausting time
• Mortgage and essential living expenses

Most importantly, it will give them the space to focus on what truly matters—healing, recovery, and being together as a family.

Cliff is the kind of person who shows up for everyone. He’s honest, loyal, compassionate, hardworking—and truly one of the funniest people you’ll ever meet. For 48 years, he’s been my favorite human on the planet.

If anyone deserves support in a moment like this, it’s him.

We are deeply grateful for anything you can give—whether that’s a donation, a share, or simply keeping Cliff and his family in your thoughts.

Thank you from the bottom of our hearts ❤️
