My daughter Taylor has 2 beautiful cats that she has rescued; a girl named Gracie and a boy named Cliff. In the last few months, Cliff has been losing weight without explanation. After several trips, tests, and prescriptions from the vet, Taylor has learned that Cliff has been diagnosed with a rare and life threatening illness, called Feline Infectious Peritonitis (FIP).

Without treatment, Cliff has a 4% chance of survival. However, there is a new medication available with a success rate of 85%! The cost for treatments with this medication will add up to $1,800. Taylor has already spent $1,000 out of her own pocket for the previous tests and medications that did not work.
