Support Clifford’s family after his sudden loss.

Clifford Hedgepeth Jr., September 28, 1944-February 20, 2025. “Dad/Granddad” cooked a wonderful dinner Sunday night, 2/16/2025. He enjoyed every bite! In the middle of the night he was in terrible pain. Come to find out it was the onset of a severe gallbladder problem.

Hospitals were full everywhere, so he had to be transported from Southampton Memorial Emergency to Southside Regional Hospital Emergency, in Petersburg, the following day. Needless to say, things went urgent quickly. The gallbladder had gone into severe infection, causing sepsis. They tried absolutely everything, but by Thursday his kidneys were shut down and he was surviving by machines. Cliff did not want that.

The whole family was with Cliff, and he had love pouring all over him until his last breath. The grief goes on, but he is in paradise!

Nana (Gloria Jean Hedgepeth) is a woman who had a wonderful man, who took care of everything. September 30, 2024 was their 59th anniversary. The shock of this and the sudden need for information is trying this family, at such a sensitive time.

The reason for the go fund me request is this, the family has so much to try to get in order and not specifics of where to start. Anne, Taylor and Robby are doing everything possible to get information, starting this week, but there are some immediate things that must be handled, without the information needed.
