Support Cliff Young's Road to Recovery

Hello! We are starting a GoFundMe for Clifford Young. He is an amazing son, brother, uncle, and friend. Cliff was unfortunately the victim of a terrible hit-and-run accident on Memorial weekend in Scottsdale, AZ. Cliff is an avid mountain biker, cyclist, loves CrossFit, and eating healthy. He even started a workout club with his nephews and just competed in the Tour De Scottsdale Marathon.

This accident has left Cliff with numerous broken bones, Diffuse Axonal Injury (DAI), and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI). Cliff is currently still on a ventilator and has a tracheotomy. He has, however, started opening his eyes to let us know he is still there and giving us positive signs slowly but surely. Cliff is fighting every day for not only his life but for the quality of life he will have when he starts to recover. The extent of his recovery is unknown due to his brain injuries, and we are definitely ready for a long road ahead.

Cliff obviously will have insane medical expenses. He is unable to work for an unknown amount of time (possibly never). He still has his house and regular expenses that we need to keep up for when he is out of the long-term facility.

We are very lucky to be surrounded by amazing friends, family, and people that just love him. Many of you have asked what you can do to help. Given this long road to recovery he’s on, we thought maybe a GoFundMe would be best. Any level of donation will help. We are very hopeful for him because if anyone can get through this, it’s Cliff.
