About Cleopatra
We’re reaching out to ask for help on behalf of our sister, Cleopatra, a hardworking and devoted mom of three with a big heart and even bigger responsibilities.
Recently, Cleopatra received life-changing news: she’s been diagnosed with adenocarcinoma, a form of lung cancer. By God’s grace, it was caught early, but she still faces major surgery. She will soon undergo a lobectomy, a procedure to remove part of her lung.
While we remain hopeful and prayerful about her recovery, this journey comes with real challenges, especially for a single mom. It means time away from work and lost income, right as the back-to-school season begins. Anyone who’s raised a family knows how real the financial demands can be, especially now.
We’re starting this fundraiser to help cover:
•Lost income while she’s out of work
•Recovery-related expenses
•Rent, utilities, and household bills to keep things steady at home
•Support for her three children, including school supplies, clothes, lunches/snacks, transportation, and emergency needs during her recovery
Cleopatra is not someone who asks for help, so we’re asking for her. We believe in the power of community and compassion, and we know many people are just looking for a chance to be a blessing to someone who truly deserves it.
This fundraiser is meant to give her some breathing room, literally and financially, so she can focus on healing. It is being managed by Cleopatra’s sisters, and all funds will go directly toward her recovery and supporting her household during this time.
Whether you're a person of faith, kindness, or simply someone who knows what it’s like to carry more than your share, we invite you to give, if you’re able. No amount is too small. Your support would mean the world to our family. And if you're not in a place to give financially, we ask for your prayers and for you to share this page with others.
“Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2
Thank you for walking with us in faith, hope, and love. We believe in Cleopatra’s strength, in the power of prayer, and in the goodness of people like you.
With gratitude,
Cleopatra’s Family
