Hey hey, I am Reilia (21) and with Cleo (28), ☆ a transfemme couple! ☆ ♡(⁠◕⁠ᴗ⁠◕⁠✿⁠)

Unfortunately life has not been nice to us recently.

Cleo needs to leave her place in Arkansas immediately. After moving from place to place, never getting to stay anywhere for over a year, she ended up with her mother who is incredibly abusive, and now kicking her out by May.

I'm going to keep her in my room with me in the short term, but this is still not ideal, since I live in suburb in Iowa, there are not good job opportunities, my state is currently doing it's very best to actively repeal trans rights protections, and my parents who I live with are also ultra conservative and not accepting.

We both deal with chronic mental and physical health issues, which combined with our situations have made it nearly impossible to navigate life. We've got some part time jobs but they pay nothing and have no upwards mobility. We've saved everything we can, but unfortunately it's not really going to be enough.

We are super lucky to have a place to go with some friends in Seattle, but we will need some help getting our finances covered to get over there and settled. There's going to be a lot of things to take care of between rent/deposit, moving our stuff, car, getting our insurance and medical figured out, getting jobs, adapting to a very new environment. We hope to be able to build up solid foundations for our lives to be able to stand on our own and live.
