Support CLC Colleagues Displaced by Fires
Donation protected
UPDATE 1/11/25:
We are deeply grateful for the incredible support you’ve shown CLC thus far. Your generosity has already made a meaningful impact, yet as the situation evolves, so have the needs.
We have increased reports of staff being evacuated or being without power for days on end. The urgent need for support is rising daily. By increasing our GoFundMe goal, we aim to assist with childcare, transportation, essential living items, and emergency housing.
Your continued support—whether through donations, sharing our campaign, or simply spreading awareness—will make all the difference. Thank you for standing with us and showing the power of community during these trying times.
UPDATE 1/9/25: Sadly, we recently learned that another colleague lost their home. Currently, we're at 6 CLC employees. Thank you for your generosity, compassion and support.
The recent fires have brought unimaginable devastation. A few of our CLC colleagues have been deeply affected by the wildfires sweeping through our region and have lost their homes. They and their families have been displaced, their homes have been destroyed, and lives have been uprooted. As part of our CLC family, we want to show our unwavering support during this challenging time.
To provide meaningful assistance, we’ve set up this GoFundMe to help those who have lost their homes. Every contribution, no matter the amount, can make a real difference for their recovery from this disaster. All funds will be distributed to current CLC employees who have lost their homes.
My name is Lakai Wilson, CLC’s Director of Human Resources. This campaign has been created to offer financial support to colleagues who are suffering such tremendous loss as a result of the LA-area fires. All donations will be transferred to a dedicated bank account created solely to track and then disperse funds to colleagues who have been significantly impacted. As the situation evolves and high wind advisories threaten more danger, the need grows. Any donations received which exceed the $40,000 goal will also be distributed to designated CLC staff impacted by the fires.
Thank you for being part of this effort and for demonstrating an act of care for one another.
