My name is Clayton Shipley, and I am proud to share that I have qualified to be a member of the 2025 USA Wrestling–Ohio National Team. This team is comprised of the top Freestyle and Greco-Roman wrestlers in the state in my age group. I earned my place on the team through my performance at the recent USA Wrestling State Championships and my past achievements in the sport.
Ohio’s National Wrestling Team has a strong tradition of success, consistently placing in the Top 8 nationally and producing numerous All-Americans. This year’s team is especially strong, and our goal is to bring home the national team title and continue this legacy of excellence.
The USA Wrestling National Championships will take place at North Dakota State University in Fargo, ND, from July 10–19, 2025. Leading up to this, I will participate in an intensive training camp beginning July 5, and I will be dedicating my spring and summer to rigorous training in preparation for this prestigious event.
To help make this opportunity a reality, I am seeking financial assistance. The total cost for me to participate is $1,800, which includes training, travel, and competition expenses. Due to the time commitments required for training, it will be difficult for me to raise this amount on my own in the time available. I am kindly asking for a donation of any amount to support my journey.
All donations are tax-deductible and should be made payable to USA Wrestling – Ohio, with my name (“Clayton Shipley”) written in the memo line to ensure proper credit. I will make sure your contribution reaches the appropriate person. The USA Wrestling–Ohio Tax EID is 34-1849866, and a tax exemption form is available upon request.
Representing my community, school, and the state of Ohio at the National Championships means everything to me. I’m committed to training hard and giving my best to bring pride to Ohio wrestling. Your support would mean a great deal and help make this incredible experience possible.
Thank you for your time and consideration!
Thank you!
Clayton Shipley
