My close friend and podcast co-host, Clayton Sharp, was recently in a serious car accident while driving on the Tail of the Dragon. The accident was severe enough that Clayton had to be airlifted to a hospital in Knoxville, where he was diagnosed with a fractured neck and skull. Now, he is facing a long recovery, including wearing a neck brace for six weeks and being unable to lift more than 10 pounds. Hospitals can be tough places to be, and Clayton is eager to get back home and start healing with his wife by his side.
Clayton works in construction, so these injuries mean he will be out of work for an extended period of time. On top of the medical challenges, Clayton's car was totaled in the accident, adding another layer of stress to an already difficult situation. The costs of medical care, recovery, replacing a vehicle, and lost income are overwhelming, and it's a lot for Clayton and his wife to handle alone.
I'm reaching out to our community for help. Your support—whether it's a donation, sharing this fundraiser, or sending positive energy—will make a real difference in Clayton and his wife's recovery. Thank you so much for being there for them during this tough time. Every bit of help means the world.
