Support Clay Morris’ Recovery from Rattlesnake Bite
Donation protected
On September 3, 2024, Clay’s life took a sudden and terrifying turn. While walking the dogs with his girlfriend after dusk, he was bitten by a rattlesnake. Despite immediate medical attention and the administration of anti-venom at the ER, Clay faced severe complications. By September 4, he developed compartment syndrome in his right leg, which necessitated a double fasciotomy surgery.
On September 6, Clay underwent another surgery to attempt closure of the fasciotomy wounds. The surgeon was able to fully close one incision and partially close the other. Clay's recovery is far from over; he will remain in the hospital until his wounds are fully closed and then face a prolonged recovery period at home.
The road to recovery will be long and challenging, and he will be unable to work for 6-8 weeks if not longer. We’re reaching out to our community for support to help cover the costs of Clay's ongoing recovery.
Any donation, no matter how small, will make a significant difference in helping Clay get back on his feet. Your generosity will not only help alleviate the financial burden but also provide emotional support during this difficult time.
Thank you for considering a donation. Your support and kindness are deeply appreciated.
