As many of you know, my twin sister Stephanie's husband, Clay Moody, has been struggling with health issues for over 3 years now due to Long Covid. They have tried everything up to this point and just recently received an opportunity to send him to treatment at the Spero Clinic in Arkansas. They have an amazing success rate! It is very expensive. They had to put down $2500 just to register and hold his spot. Treatment will cost $3000+ each week. They plan for him to be there for 12 weeks. Insurance does not cover any of this. It will cost $40,000 - $50,000 for the treatments and hotel stays in total, and that doesn't even count travel and food. They obviously do not have that kind of money laying around. I know this will be worth it for Clay to have his life back and for Stephanie and their kids to get their husband/daddy back. They will leave on July 14 to head to Arkansas for his 12-week treatment. Stephanie will get to be with him the first couple weeks, but then has to come back since school will be starting.
