Over the years, I’ve seen health issues take a heavy toll on people I care deeply about. Their strength and courage in facing these challenges, often under incredibly unfair circumstances, never cease to amaze me. I’ve come to realize that some aspects of life are simply beyond our understanding.

My friend, Clay, has been battling the most aggressive form of prostate cancer for the past few years. This relentless disease has spread and reoccurred, with the last three months of radiation treatment causing additional debilitating side effects. Now, Clay finds himself in an even more intense fight against this cancer.

While I frequently contribute to various causes through donations and volunteer work, I’ve never initiated a fundraiser—until now. My heart is deeply involved in this effort because I see a man who, after becoming a father later in life, is wholly committed to being there for his son. As a Healing Professional, I understand the devastating impact that stress can have on both disease and the healing process.

That’s why I’m asking everyone who knows and loves Clay to come together and help him. This fundraiser aims to alleviate the immense financial stress caused by his inability to work fully and generate enough income to pay the high cost of co-pays, deductibles, medications and other living expenses.
