Support Clay Campbell's Fight Against Cancer
Donation protected
Back in late August, the Campbell family’s lives changed forever. On Saturday August 24th, while Clay and Angel were supporting one of their daughter's at her cross-country meet, Clay started to not feel well. The issue compounded Sunday morning when he awoke with severe side pain. Angel brought him to the emergency center and after many tests, he was transferred to Memorial Herman Hospital in Houston. On Tuesday, August 27th, they received the news that Clay has stage 4 colon cancer.
For the past several months, Clay has been in and out of MD Anderson hospital fighting off several issues the cancer has been causing him and enduring multiple surgeries, spending more time there than at home. Clay hasn't been able to begin chemo due to these issues.
Clay and Angel have three beautiful daughters. Hannah is a freshman at Lamar, Morgan is a Junior at PNG and Bailey is in 1st grade at PN Primary. They have been wonderful taking care of the home and each other while Clay and Angel have been in Houston.
The communities’ support for this family has been overwhelming and very appreciated by Clay and Angel, but there is still a gap left since Clay has not been able to work.
We know times are tough but if you can help by giving any amount, we thank you dearly; even if your giving comes in the form of prayers for Clay to be healthy enough to be able to start chemo. All donations will go to help the family so they can focus on getting Clay better.
This fundraiser is being organized by friends of the family.
