Help Support Clay Howie and His Family Through a Long Road to Recovery
We are reaching out to our community with heavy but grateful hearts and a request for support for the Howie family, Clay Howie is a recent graduate of Kempsville High School, a son, brother, friend and teammate. Clay and his family have been apart of the 757 baseball community for many years as Clay dedicated much of his life since he was a child to playing baseball both recreationally and competitively. Clay and a close friend were involved in a devastating car accident that has left him in the ICU, where he is currently sedated with a brain bleed, skull fractures, and facing an incredibly long and difficult recovery.
Clay has always been a fighter both on and off the field, but the journey ahead will be his toughest challenge yet. While we remain hopeful for his recovery, the reality is that his healing process will be long, and his family will need all the support they can get. The medical expenses, combined with the loss of income as his family takes time off to care for him, are overwhelming.
The Howie family has given me permission to create this fundraiser to help cover the mounting medical bills and living expenses during this critical time. Every dollar will go towards ensuring they can focus on what truly matters: helping Clay recover and providing him with the love and care he needs. The beneficiary of this fundraiser will be Stephanie Howie.
Please consider donating to ease the financial burden on this wonderful family. Your generosity, no matter the amount, will make a world of difference in Clay’s recovery and the Howies’ ability to stay by his side through it all.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for your kindness, prayers, and support. Together, we can help Clay get back on his feet and back to the life he loves. #ClayStrong
