My name is Claudia Tanner. I’m an animal rescuer and the founder of Paddy’s Dog Rescue, based in Wirral.

I am currently facing a charge of burglary in relation to an incident in December 2024, and I am due to appear in court on 20 February. I will be pleading not guilty.

I have been given an estimate of around £6,700 for a Crown Court trial (I had previously wrote here it was £15,000 - as that's what my solicitor initially said, then she told me fees for a burglary charge is capped).

As legal proceedings are active, I’m unable to comment on the circumstances of the case.
