On October 15, 2025 Claudia Rao received devastating news and was diagnosed with Stage 4 pancreatic cancer at the age of 54. After several visits at Sloan Kettering in Manhattan and extensive testing, we now know she faces a long and difficult battle ahead of her. On November 3, 2025, she began treatments and will be undergoing chemotherapy every two weeks.

Claudia is the wonderful and devoted mother of two amazing children. Gabriela (age 14) is a beautiful young lady and a high school freshman. Giancarlo (age 12) is the sweetest boy ever. Claudia is a strong advocate for Giancarlo who is autistic. She has been an employee of Morgan Stanley for over 24 years. She is an amazing mother, sister, daughter, wife, co-worker and friend.

Claudia is unable to work, and her husband Peter also needs to take off from work to take her to doctor’s appointments, care for her at home, and care for their children.

This is a physical, mental, and financial taxing journey for them and we are reaching out for support for her and her family.
