Help Jamaica Recover from Hurricane Melissa
Hurricane Melissa has left many communities across Jamaica devastated — without power, running water, and essential supplies. Jamaica is especially close to our hearts because my mom’s aide, Claudette, is from there. She has cared for our sick mother for the past eight years, and I honestly don’t know what our lives would be like without her. She’s become part of our family and is one of the kindest and most generous people we know.
Claudette’s hometown in the parish of St. Catherine was spared the worst of the storm, but her community and surrounding areas are still struggling to meet basic needs. Sadly, much of the official aid never reaches the people who need it most.
We’re raising funds to send direct help through Claudette, who has family and trusted contacts on the ground. They’ll identify exactly what’s needed, water, food, medical supplies, and essentials and ensure that every dollar goes straight to the people most affected.
Every contribution, no matter how small, will make a real difference for families in Jamaica who are trying to rebuild their lives.
Thank you for your compassion and generosity.
