While driving through Nashville with my parents, we came across Clark—a disabled veteran who recently lost his apartment and financial stability. I truly believe it was no coincidence that our paths crossed. We sat and talked, shared a meal together, and were able to get him a hotel room for a bit. Clark has served our Country. Today, on Veterans Day, we take time to honor those who have sacrificed for our freedom. He did not ask for any handouts, yet it’s clear he could really use the support right now.
