I am writing to share the challenges my mother, Clarissa, has been facing in her battle with breast cancer. Her journey has been long and difficult, and we are reaching out for support during this challenging time.

Clarissa was initially diagnosed with the most common form of breast cancer. She was at Stage 0, and the plan was for her to undergo a lumpectomy. However, when the surgeons went in, they discovered that the tumor had doubled in size within a month, and the cancer had spread to her lymph nodes. As a result, the lumpectomy was no longer viable, and she had to undergo a double mastectomy instead.

Following surgery, Clarissa began chemotherapy and radiation treatments, which were physically and emotionally exhausting. Though she completed both treatments, the doctors recommended continued hormone therapy and chemo pills for the next couple of years. These medications have left her feeling weak, nauseous, and often unable to complete daily tasks.

Unfortunately, her health challenges did not stop there. On October 30th, Clarissa suffered a heart attack, requiring the placement of a stent. This setback has further complicated her recovery and added to the already significant toll on her health. She is now facing an extended recovery period and is unable to return to work at her nursing job anytime soon.

As a result of her medical treatments and inability to work, Clarissa is struggling with mounting financial burdens, including medical bills, utilities, and everyday living expenses.

We are asking for any support that could help ease the financial strain she is currently facing. Your generosity would greatly alleviate the stress she’s experiencing as she continues her recovery.
