Support Clardy family after Madison School Shooting

After being in ICU for nearly a month, River is now on the Recovery Floor and has begun PT, OT, and Speech therapy after being shot multiple times. He is truly a remarkable young man! He is working hard with the goal to be discharged and return home to his family and two dogs. His mother, who is a teacher, and two of his sisters have returned to ALCS where the lives of all the students changed forever on December 16th. His entire family is receiving incredible support from their community, family, friends and strangers from across the US. Your donations and prayers are greatly appreciated as they continue down the long road to recovery.

Merry Christmas to all the friends and loved ones of the Clardy Family. This fundraiser has been started to help my cousin and his family who are reeling from the aftermath of the Wisconsin school shooting. This GoFundMe page is intended for family and friends like you and I that want to help out but do not know how. Even though Brett and Christina have not asked for donations, I know that a little financial aid could help ease the burden that will come from extended hospital stays and the road to recovery. Having three kids myself, one who is close to the same age as their son, this really hit home. There is no better or deserving family than theirs to help during this holiday season.

On Dec 16th one of their children was shot multiple times. He is currently in ICU in stable but critical condition and still isn’t out of the woods. You can imagine the long and difficult recovery this tough kid will have ahead of him. His sisters, also in attendance at the school, will have their own healing to deal with as well. I know there will be some tough times ahead for them but they will persevere. Prayers and love from family and friends definitely helps, but we all know, they are also going to need financial help. This family deserves to go back to living the carefree and joyous lives they lived prior to December 16. This young man and his family need our financial support in order to make that happen.
