Hi, my name is Clara Evans. I have a condition called FND, that is Functional Neurological disorder. Through my teen years I developed chronic migraines which are daily. I also suffer from dysautonomia, chronic pain, fatigue, and also Hyper Mobile Spectrum Disorder. These conditions are painful and limiting, leading to functional seizures, complete paralysis in my legs, fainting, and joint dislocations. The limitations these bring to my life are difficult to overcome.

Using a wheelchair is a great tool to get out into the world more, but often there are still barriers. Some of these barriers include: rough terrain, badly paved roads and sidewalks, walking paths and winter snow and ice.

THE NEED:

This wheelchair attachment would provide a way for me to more easily and effectively navigate my world. It would cause my body to be in less pain, spend less energy to see others, and more easily navigate terrain. I want to enjoy the world around me and my disability hinders it.
